I needed a total hip replacement and was referred to Mr Gibbs. He immediately set my mind at rest and explained everything in a very clear, concise, logical way. An excellent professional manner which has made the whole process extremely straightforward and both fear and stress free. 2 weeks after surgery I have made an amazing recovery and look forward to being able to return to normal activities.

Following a mountain bike accident in February 2021 and breaking my right femur bone I had the good fortune of being ‘repaired’ by Mr James Gibbs.
On meeting Mr Gibbs I was immediately impressed by his friendly personnel manner and his clear explanation of the proposed procedure ( fitting of a femoral nail) about to be undertaken on my leg. At all times I felt I was in the good hands of a very professional competent surgeon.
The after care I have received at the Princess Royal hospital in Mr Gibbs clinic was been 1st class again delivered with caring, kind & clear explanation. I have made a full recovery and I am very Grateful to Mr Gibbs for his work and also to the fantastic nursing care I received in the Princess Royal hospital during my brief stay there.

Mr Gibbs has a very personable personality which makes one feel at ease. He was very clear about the operation and answered all questions clearly. After the operation I am having a quick recovery, very little pain and a neat wound.

Mr Gibbs is a highly professional, empathetic surgeon. He repaired my knee and re-attached the quadriceps tendon after an injury caused by an accident, and he did an excellent job. His post operative care was also excellent.

He regularly manages hip and knee conditions along with sports injuries.
